• When you are establishing a new offshoring initiative, you need an executive level leader with offshoring industry perspectives, contacts and in-depth understanding of industry trends and best practices. Once it is operational, a director level person can assume ongoing execution.

• You are recruiting someone to be on your permanent staff, but do not wish to rush the process. You may want to get an interim executive to keep things running till you find the right person to add to your staff.
