Interim
Management Responsibility
for results Part of your team
Short or long term |

Why consider
Interim Management
- You need someone to manage offshore outsourcing.
But it is not a full time job. I find that in startups
to mid-sized companies it takes no more than 20%
to 30% of a full time person.
- You are in the process of hiring a full time person.
You do not wish to rush the process. But there are
ongoing issues to be addressed in the interim.
- You have specific “projects” to be
executed, but these are not ongoing needs --- examples:
Launch offshore outsourcing, Fine-tune or turnaround
offshore outsourcing, Staff up an offshore operation
and establish right processes.
- You would rather have me assume responsibility
for outcomes instead of being an advisor.
How I work
- Initial Contact: I will discuss
your requirements sufficiently to determine scope
of work and that we are right for each other.
- Diagnosis: I will contact various
stake holders, develop a detailed understanding
of the situation, diagnose causes and identify specific
actions that need to be taken.
- Proposal: I will present a detailed
proposal. This will consist of tasks, time line,
resources, risks and expected outcomes.
- Implementation: I will begin
implementing various tasks. I will get as close
to the situation as necessary while remaining objective.
This may involve managing teams, partners or simply
‘holding the fort’. I will keep you
informed of progress and issues.
- Exit: Once objectives are met,
I will coach your staff and exit. I will be available
as an advisor, should the need arise.
